Stanley Druckenmiller — Duquesne Family Office

B+ SEC EDGAR (13F-HR) ↗ Duquesne Family Office 13F series since 2011; Duquesne Capital before that (1981–2010)

A sworn SEC filing, but a lagged quarterly window: long US-listed equities only, up to 45 days old on arrival. The filing also reports in thousands against the current whole-dollar convention — our pipeline detects and converts it, stated here. The famous fund-era return record is historical and not derivable from filings.

Asset focusUS equities across the macro view — 89 positions in the latest book, rotated hard every quarter
StyleMacro-driven equity expression; the family office continues the approach of Duquesne Capital (1981–2010), which closed with no client-money down year on record
StandingOne of the most-quoted macro investors; the quarterly book is read as a macro statement

The Closelook battery insufficient data

No verifiable daily series is publicly available for this record yet, so we compute no battery and no rating — a missing series never becomes a low score. What would unlock it is described in the grade basis above and in the methodology.

The 13F-HR book as of 2026-06-30

$5.2B across 89 issuers, reported for quarter end 2026-06-30 and filed 2026-08-14 — the figures below are already up to a quarter old by construction. 13F-HR covers long US-listed equity positions only, as of quarter end, filed up to 45 days later. Not the whole book.

The Closelook read

Eighty-nine positions turned over hard every quarter — the filing reads less like a portfolio and more like a running macro diary, which is exactly why it is one of the most-watched 13Fs on EDGAR.

Druckenmiller's filing is the opposite lesson to Ackman's: high position count, heavy rotation, and a book that changes its character between quarters. That makes the 45-day lag bite hardest here — by the time the filing lands, a meaningful share of it has already been traded away, a caveat the family office itself has made publicly. The historical fund record that made the name is not in these filings at all; what EDGAR shows is where the macro view was pointing at quarter end.
